1. Who we are

Area Match ("the Service") is operated by Make Me Happy("we", "us", "our"). By using the Service you enter into an agreement with Make Me Happy.

2. Acceptance

By accessing or continuing to use the Service you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

3. The service

Area Match lets you search a geographic area and overlay its outline on another location for size, route, and territory comparison. Free accounts can add a limited number of overlays per day; a one-time purchase unlocks unlimited overlays and a third comparison slot.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose;
  • send spam or attempt to phish other users;
  • infringe intellectual property or privacy rights of others;
  • interfere with the Service's security, including probing, scraping, distributing malware, or attempting to bypass rate limits or access controls;
  • reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the Service outside the rights granted here.

5. Account & credentials

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

6. Intellectual property

Make Me Happy retains all rights, title, and interest in the Service, including software, design, and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for its intended purpose. Map data is provided by third parties (including OpenStreetMap contributors) under their respective licenses.

7. Payments

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms.

8. Service level

We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

9. Suspension & termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious policy violations.

10. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the Service is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with an updated date.
